On Wednesday the 5/6th graders had the opportunity to go to Michigan's Adventure and participate in their annual Physics Day. The class calculated the heights of rides using an astrolabe, they determined the speed of several roller coasters, learned about g-force, calculated rotations per minute, and of course rode as many rides as they could. It was a great day filled with lots of fun and memories! Click on the pictures below to see all of the fun we had.

On Thursday during our STEM period we explored many different activities, games, robots, and building projects. It was a fun and much needed break from our roller coasters and science fair projects.
